Core Security Philosophy & Zero-Trust Posture

At SOUDIV Technologies, security is an architectural bedrock rather than an afterthought. We engineer systems under the foundational principle of Zero-Trust Architecture (ZTA): never trust implicitly, always verify explicitly, and continuously enforce least-privilege access across users, services, and network boundaries.

Whether developing full-stack web platforms, orchestrating automated AI agent pipelines, or providing the NIRIKSH Linux control plane, our engineering practices align with recognized cybersecurity benchmarks including OWASP Top 10, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), and CIS Critical Security Controls.

NIRIKSH Platform & Daemon Hardening

Kernel-Level Isolation & Linux Runtime Sandbox
HARDENED SYSTEMD

NIRIKSH operates as a high-performance Linux monitoring agent and server management platform. Because server infrastructure controls mission-critical workloads, NIRIKSH incorporates strict runtime sandboxing controls:

Rootless Execution

The NIRIKSH web daemon runs under a dedicated, unprivileged system user with restricted capabilities (CAP_NET_BIND_SERVICE only when binding privileged ports).

Systemd Sandboxing

Unit directives enforce ProtectSystem=strict, ProtectHome=read-only, NoNewPrivileges=true, and private temp directories.

Air-Gapped Telemetry

Zero external metric egress. All operational telemetry, process lists, and disk metrics stay on localhost or customer-controlled databases without dialing home.

Application Security & Secure SDLC

Every line of software produced for clients undergoes a rigorous Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) framework integrated directly into automated CI/CD pipelines:

Static & Dynamic Security Testing
  • Automated SAST scans running on every pull request
  • Secret scanning preventing accidental token or credential commits
  • Software Composition Analysis (SCA) alerting on vulnerable packages
  • Strict linting and type-safety rules enforced via TypeScript & ESLint
OWASP Defense Implementation
  • Parameterized SQL queries & ORMs mitigating SQL Injection (SQLi)
  • Automatic HTML escaping & Content Security Policy (CSP) against XSS
  • Strict Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) and anti-CSRF tokens
  • Cryptographic rate-limiting preventing brute-force authentication attacks
[SEC-04]

Cryptography & Key Management

SOUDIV enforces industry-standard cryptographic algorithms across both transit and storage domains:

Data in Transit

Enforced TLS 1.3 across all public web and API endpoints with HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) and Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS). Legacy SSL/TLS protocols are rejected.

Data at Rest

Encrypted using industry-standard AES-256-GCM across all database volumes, cold storage snapshots, and persistent object stores.

Key Management

Cryptographic keys and production secrets are managed in hardware-backed KMS vaults with automated rotation schedules and zero developer plaintext access.

[SEC-05]

Cloud Infrastructure & Edge Defense

Our cloud environments are deployed across Tier-1 enterprise cloud providers with redundant, multi-layered perimeter defenses:

  • DDoS Mitigation: Global edge Anycast network absorbs volumetric Layer 3, Layer 4, and Layer 7 distributed denial-of-service attacks before traffic reaches core systems.
  • Web Application Firewall (WAF): Intelligent inspection rules detect and block malicious bot traffic, automated credential stuffing, and protocol anomalies.
  • Network Microsegmentation: Production database clusters and compute nodes reside within isolated private VPC subnets with zero direct public IPv4/IPv6 routability.
[SEC-06]

Access Control, IAM & Least Privilege

Access to production systems, client deliverables, and internal infrastructure is strictly managed under the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP):

Mandatory Hardware MFA

FIDO2 WebAuthn or TOTP multi-factor authentication enforced across all internal developer portals, GitHub organizations, and cloud consoles.

Just-in-Time Elevation

Engineers do not hold perpetual administrative access. Privileged operations require time-bound, logged elevation approvals.

SSH Key Cryptography

Password-based SSH is disabled on all hosts. Host authentication strictly uses modern Ed25519 elliptic-curve keypairs with bastion jumpboxes.

[SEC-07]

Client Code & Data Isolation

We treat client intellectual property and commercial data with strict isolation boundaries:

  • Multi-Tenant Segregation: Client repositories, staging environments, and cloud testing VPCs are completely isolated. No client workload shares database tables or execution namespaces with another client.
  • Zero Cross-Contamination: AI workflows and custom models built for a client are never trained on another client's data or codebase.
  • Mutual NDA Backing: All engineering staff operate under binding non-disclosure agreements with criminal and civil liability provisions.
[SEC-08]

Incident Response & Continuous Monitoring

SOUDIV maintains an active Security Incident Response Plan (SIRP) structured around four operational phases:

PHASE 1
Detection & Triage

Automated SIEM alerting & immediate severity classification within 1 hour.

PHASE 2
Containment

Network isolation, session revocation, and forensic snapshot capture.

PHASE 3
Remediation

Root cause patching, integrity verification, and controlled redeployment.

PHASE 4
Post-Mortem

Comprehensive blameless retrospective and client notification within 72h.

[SEC-09]

Continuity, Backups & Disaster Recovery

To ensure uninterrupted operational resilience, our systems and managed deployments incorporate:

Automated Immutable Backups

Encrypted daily backups stored in geographically separate regions with object-lock write-once-read-many (WORM) policies preventing ransomware tampering.

Aggressive RTO & RPO Objectives

Target Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of < 2 hours and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of < 15 minutes for critical platform services.
